Stephanie Sutton, PTA
Physical Therapist

Stephanie was born and raised in Skagit Valley and graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a double degree in International Studies and Photography. After spending some time traveling and gaining a background in herbal medicine and nutrition, as well as Early Childhood Education, Stephanie was drawn to the field of physical therapy for the many ways in which it addresses the root of an individual’s condition in a more holistic and comprehensive manner. In 2017, she graduated from the PTA program at Whatcom Community College, and having spent 13 years as a preschool teacher, she knew that she wanted to specialize in pediatric therapy.

Stephanie believes strongly in working in partnership with her patients and their families, building a foundation of trust and honoring each unique experience. She loves incorporating purposeful play into every encounter, because learning how much joy can be gained from moving our bodies and accomplishing hard work is key to gaining self confidence, independence, self regulation and developing healthy habits that can last a lifetime. When not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, getting outdoors as much as possible, and cooking/eating delicious food.
