Pediatric Physical Therapy
Valley Kids offers pediatric physical therapy. The pediatric physical therapist is trained to provide intervention to infants, toddlers, and children with disorders that affect gross motor development and may be a result of prematurity, birth complications, or musculoskeletal disorders. Treatment focuses on improving muscle strength, balance, posture, range of motion, and quality of movement.
We treat the following, and additional disorders:
- Neurological dysfunctions (such as: cerebral palsy & spina bifida)
- Muscular weakness
- Tonal abnormalities
- Sensory dysfunctions affecting motor function
- Orthopedic diagnoses and injuries
- Genetic disorders
- Muscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy
- Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
- Any impairment affecting motor abilities

Our Physical Therapist will provide a comprehensive evaluation and client-centered treatment plan to help your child reach his or her full potential. Our physical therapist works with infants, toddlers, and school-age children with gross motor deficits stemming from genetic, neurological, and orthopedic disorders, as well as, illness and injury.
We collaborate closely with families, other disciplines, and medical providers to ensure your child is provided with the highest level of care. Our physical therapist also works closely with medical supply providers to fit children with appropriate mobility aids, such as braces, walkers, and wheelchairs.
